Recent History 2008-2012.Since 2008, as many of you know all to well, life got very challenging due to strong changes in the economy. But, I won't waste any time blaming the economy. I will take responsibility for not being willing to change, adapt and work differently.
In 2010, I made the decision to "rightsized" my operation and leased the gallery space to the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce (as of 2016-Ticor Title). Once the lease was finalized in Early 2011, I was at work turning part of the basement workshop into a design space. I enlisted the help of Roger Hirsch (retired), 4RHouse to remodel and construct walls, doors and move a few things. I also got help in color and design from Tina of Enomoto Design
I have been framing pictures since 1983 and started at Western Picture Frame in Portland, OR. The Lucky family, especially Ken, were instrumental in developing my skills as a picture framer. John, who managed the shop, did the heavy lifting when it came to training me. Thanks to all of you, without you I wouldn't be here.
I have worked at various shops around the country, but mostly in Oregon
